Birmingham Storytelling Cafe: usually the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm

Birmingham Storytelling Café is a place of magic and mischief, where you can enjoy delicious food or drink while sitting back and being whisked away to a world of wonderful stories that will amuse and enrich you. Alvechurch French Dance and Music: Alvechurch Village Hall, B48 7JX
Monthly traditional dance events in Alvechurch, normally on the first Saturday of each month from 2:30 to 5pm. Come and enjoy a variety of traditional French dances, Bourrees, Scottisches, Polkas, Mazurkas, Waltzes, Breton etc. All abilities of dancer and musician welcome. Music Workshops
We are always keen to promote any workshop events in the Birmingham area, such as those run by Birmingham Folk.
We’ll add them to our monthly newsletter – make sure you are signed up using this form, so that you will always get advance notice.
Royal Tales, Sutton Coldfield’s Storytelling Club: 7:30pm at the Station, 44 Station St, Sutton Coldfield B73 6AT. Based on the art of oral storytelling, it’s a monthly meetup for storytellers to come and tell their tales in a relaxed place to share stories they are working on in a friendly atmosphere. Traditional stories are encouraged, but other stories are welcome. If you want to come and sit and listen, you are welcome. All those who come along, please support the venue by buying drinks and food. More info including dates on the Facebook group.
